Anyone can access the Vacation Respite Home by contacting the Respite Coordinator. Out of county residents may access the home however priority will be given to Huron County residents. People requiring support are required to bring their own respite provider/support worker (CHAP), the Vacation Respite Home is not staffed to provide supervision or support services. The Respite Coordinator can assist people to identify an approriate match with a respite provider (CHAP).
The Huron Respite Network Vacation Respite Home is an alternate respite option for families and people caring for people who have special needs. The home is located in Blyth, Ontario and is managed by the Huron Respite Network and owned by the Huron County Housing Corporation.
