Admission Criteria :

Bloorview Kids Rehab inpatient respite service supports families by providing short term hospital-based care for children 0-18 years with physical/developmental disabilities or have complex medical needs.
Referral form rehabilitation, complex continuing care and respite needs to be completed then application is reviewed for suitability. Referrals are accepted from family members, community agencies and physicians.

Families can access up to six weeks per year depending on bed availability. During Peak periods (school holidays, summer) the number of days may be limited.
