Admission Criteria :

Safehaven serves children who are medically fragile, from newborns to 19 years of age. Families who want to access its respite program should go through the screening process: 1) Pre-screening over the phone 2) Set up an interview 3) Tour the facility 4) Assessment 5) Completion and submission of medical forms 6) Confirmation of program spot for the individual

Due to demands for its services, Safehaven maintains a waiting list. Each qualified family is usually given 1 weekend every 2 months.
