The Society for Treatment of Autism (NS) in conjunction with Cape Breton Community Respite wishes to announce the launch of the Respite Database Program through Nova Scotia Respite Supports and Navigation Services. Respite connects families with support workers who can be mentors to individuals of all ages with disabilities not just children. As part of this program, families will be more connected and have access to a database with various services such as community events, educational resources and worker profiles just to name a few. This will provide a great opportunity for families and family members to live actively and participate in community activities.
