| Worker's Role : | Reliability is most important with a desire to help this young man fully enjoy his life. Transfer from lift to wheelchair, shower and toileting, meds and GTube feeding. Companionship on outings in the van - mostly to the park or to socialize. At home to watch movies, do crafts, read to him etc. Tuck him into bed. |

| Description of Individual : | Nicholas is a 10 year old boy full of love and giggles. His smile will light up a room and warm any heart. Nic is non-verbal however has a voice and uses Proloquo2Go and gestures for communication. Nic requires full support for everyday needs such as feeding, transfers and toileting. Nic loves to see new sights, play with lighted and noisy toys. One of his favourite pastimes is listening to music while relaxing or 'dancing' with someone. Nic will always take time to enjoy a picture book being read to him. Nic is currently working on a toileting program. |
| Worker's Role : | Caregiver for Nic are required to provide full support. This includes transfers, assisting with feeding, toileting, and use of equipment. Knowledge of use of Proloquo2Go is an asset however training will be provided if needed. Willingness to be one to one with Nic is needed, however Nic does enjoy having the opportunity to play with other children. Willing to discuss needs and requirements. |
| Availability : | We mostly book for Saturday's and/or Sunday's as needed, and as supports are available. We also look for care over Christmas holidays, through March Break and some weekdays during the summer months. |

| Description of Individual : | Clark is an active happy 4 year old. He loves dancing and singing and crafts. He’s constantly trying to keep up with his big brother, Owen who’s 8. Clark has Down Syndrome, and has shorter limbs (typical for DS), so he’s learning to safely navigate playgrounds. Clark wears a hearing aid as he has conductive hearing loss, and glasses- which he wears 99% of the time. He can hear but it’s muffled without his aid. He does do ASL so someone with experience in asl would be great but not mandatory. |
| Worker's Role : | We’re looking for some help, my parents usually pick up Clark from daycare but due to an accident this summer, are unable too. It would be great to get support from 3-6pm, for someone to pick Clark up from daycare and bring him home, so I have time to get home from work. But very flexible! Clark is a very active toddler, and mom and dad would love to have a bit of a break and not rely solely on our parents for help. |
