E3 Community Services’ primary responsibilities are to support both Adults and Children in getting full value as participating citizens in the community. We embrace the principles of inclusiveness, integration, individualization and community acceptance. Children’s Respite Care We believe that all parents should have access to affordable respite care opportunities. Our weekend respite camp provides planned, out of home respite to families who have children/youth with developmental and physical disabilities and multiple special needs. Weekends are organized in advance and we can accommodate up to five children/youth. Staff ratios are determined by the needs of the participants receiving care. Participants arrive at 6:00 p.m. on Friday and stay until Sunday at 3:00 p.m. Camp provides parents with the chance for some rest and relaxation, while the children and youth have fun taking part in community events and activities. We provide trained staff who ensure the safety and care of the children and youth, activities that are fun and appropriate, nutritious meals, a warm, comfortable environment and bedding and towels. We are located at 250 Peel Street, Unit A, Collingwood. We are government funded. The cost for out of home respite is $10.00 per day.
