This program provides funding for the personal development and growth of the family member with a disability and secondly for relief and support for the family.

Assistance for Children with Severe Disabilities Program
This program provides assistance to parents with extraordinary costs associated with having a child with serious special needs.

Passport
Created to provide opportunities for individuals who have a developmental disability and who have left school to find more ways to participate in their communities.

Enhanced Respite
Enhanced Respite is a program that is funded through the Community Care Access Centre (CCAC). It provides support for families caring for children with complex medical needs. Call the local CCAC for more information and referral.

Family Directed Respite Funding 
Family Directed Respite Funding is available to eligible families living in the City and District of Thunder Bay. Family caregivers decide how they would like to receive their respite and Wesway pays for the approved costs. Families are able to use the funding in a variety of ways.
