Education and Experience : I am in school for recreational therapy, I have one more year of this program to go.

I also love to volunteer. I am a volunteer at Centennial Infant and Childcare Centre (2 1/2 years here), Holland Bloorview (10 months here), and RH McGregor Public School (10 months here). At Centennial, I work together with an interdisciplinary team of professionals and families to reach a common objective of individual children’s needs and their diagnoses. At Bloorview, I help set up/clean up activities, work with therapists and children, and assist children who are in their beds. At RH McGregor, I work one on one with a 5 year old child diagnosed with ASD. I help engage child in activities and structured play. I also help both teacher and student create a welcoming and comforting classroom in order to fill the child’s educational needs.

Along with my volunteering, I work at Oxford Tutoring centre, as a tutor for children up to grade 5. I also worked with a 7 year old child diagnosed with CDLS in summer 2019.
Availability : For the summer of 2020, my availability is Monday-Saturday after 1:00pm. I also currently tutor students online with Oxford, therefore, it is best to contact me and come up with a schedule together as my hours might slightly differ each week.
