Respite Options in Waterloo Region

In Waterloo Region, nine developmental service agencies offer a variety of respite programs, both in-home and out-of-home. These programs serve people of varying ages with a variety of different needs and interests. Program Title : Adult Respite Program
Program Time : Throughout the year.
Program Runs from : Offered throughout the year.
Program Length : Weekends, Friday to Sunday.
Program Cost : Negotiated directly with family.
Admission Criteria : Individuals must have a developmental disability as confirmed through Developmental Services Ontario.
Activities : Support is provided with independent living needs and with recreational, leisure, and social opportunities.
Comments : Located at 44 Evelyn Crescent in Stanley Park neighbourhood of Kitchener.

Serving 6 adults each weekend, Friday - Sunday

Referrals for weekend respite must be made through the DSO.
