Respite Options in Waterloo Region

In Waterloo Region, nine developmental service agencies offer a variety of respite programs, both in-home and out-of-home. These programs serve people of varying ages with a variety of different needs and interests. Admission Criteria : Must have a diagnosed developmental disabliity.

Each activity or day trip will specify if extra supports are needed.
Activities : Various 8 to 10 week evening activities are planned throughout the year ( such as Cooking Capers, Scrapbooking, Healthy Steps trail walks, Guitar Hero etc) as well as day trips and sports activities
Comments : Activities Guides are available at Community Living Cambridge offices at 160 Hespeler Rd, Cambridge. These guides are available quarterly and include SOO registration activities. For more information, please contact Community Living Cambridge.
