Description of Individual : Individual is a 71 year old female with a developmental disability. She is starting to develop athritis and need to be out in the community doing exercises such as swimming and walking. Small stature needs to be cautious not strenuous activities.
She currently resides in a group home near Yonge & King Rd. and needs more community outings.
Worker's Role : As per Group Home:
At least one (1) year experience working with individuals that have a developmental disability. Must have access to a vehicle. Must have a valid G driver’s license. Must have experience working with seniors. Must be able to locate and access appropriate resources in the community.

Description of Individual : Our son is 24 years old and has autism. He is a lot of fun, and has a great sense of humour. Everyone who meets him is charmed by his sweet disposition and sense of humour. He does not have any issues with aggression, or bad behaviors.
Worker's Role : Will need a driver's license and vehicle, with a good sense of humour and basic CPR training, as well as police check. Need someone full time weekdays from 8am to 11:00am who would do light housekeeping/help, with a break in the middle of the day, and then to pick him up here in Newmarket at 3:00 and work until 7:00, Monday through Friday.
Availability : We would also like someone who could assist us with the odd evening out or weekend day. We're looking for someone who will care for our family, and fit well with our lifestyle.
