The Adult Respite Program is provided at 1665 Hwy 26, Minesing, just east of the city of Barrie. This program is designed to provide individuals and family members with respite for short periods of time. The program operates out of a fully accessible two bedroom house on a rural property. Trained staff are available 24 hours a day and meals are prepared on site. Activities offered are within the home or on the property. Transportation to community activities is not provided.

Determination of length of stay and dates available are to be determined directly with the program. Please note - all requests for visits must be made at least one month prior to the date desired.

Comments :

In order to ensure fair access to the program, it is necessary to limit usage in the year. Approval is based on careful consideration of everyone’s needs and availability of placement dates.
