Activities : Once a week (after school or weekends) a child is taken into the community by a respite worker and together they participate in different activities, which may include swimming, visiting the library, attending community events, bowling, tobogganing, etc. Depending on the individual the visits may be strictly for fun but could also include working on social and life skills such as appropriate behaviour, food and nutrition, hygiene, etc
