This could include not knowing the appropriate things to say or how to handle situations. He could have temper tantrums and need to be talked through them, although these have improved as he has gotten older.
Worker's Role : The worker's role would be to provide in home support as well as have him participate in activities through the summer-going for walks, ice cream trips, library or activities signed up for.
Availability : We are looking for someone to work Monday-Friday, 2-3x a week in the afternoons. Hours and days are flexible. Timing would be July 10th-August 24th.

If toileting is presented as a consistent, may be successful. Can present as timid, but with repeated exposure to activities seems to develop a comfort and enjoyment level. Worker's Role : Support this gentleman with activities outside the home. Family requires respite hours on the weekend- 4-6 hrs/day. Family may approach Independent contractor for additional hours on the weekend should other activities present. Family will discuss ahead of time. Some flexibility would be appreciated. Assessment and observation of new activities for his daily experiences to grow. Those activities could be as simple as going to a local park, seeing the River or swinging on a swing.
