Worker ID # : 16391

Education and Experience : 17 years experience supporting adults with developmental/physical disabilities. My previous role was manager at Community Living Central York. I started out as a direct support worker, working my way up to Supervisor and eventually Manager. I am now working as a respite provider as I miss working directly with people and the level of fulfillment that that brings.
I have experience supporting individuals supporting people that require g/j tubes, tracheostomy's, transfers etc. I have also supported people with behavioural issues who require a Behavioural Support Plan.
I enjoy a variety of activities including wonderland, music concerts, overnight trips, going for walks, and day trips. Really the activity is about the person supported and what they want, and am pretty open to anything.
