YSSN and respiteservices.com facilitate the connection of families with various Direct Respite Support Providers based on the families' needs and the providers' experience and availability. You independently contract with the respite support provider. It is important to understand that a candidate is not an employee of York Support Services Network. They are considered self employed, direct support providers, who are contracted to provide support. It is the Family/Caregiver's responsibility to select, interview and choose their direct respite support provider(s).
If you are new to CHAP and looking to contract with a respite provider in York Region, and do not already have a username and password, please complete the family registration form. Only apply when you are currently able to hire and pay for a respite provider.
Note: For Families of individuals aged 18+ eligibility for developmental services must be confirmed through DSO (Developmental Services Ontario) prior to applying to the CHAP Program. For further information on DSO, please click here www.dsontario.ca or contact 1 855 277 2121.
If you have previously registered with respiteservices.com, and have already received a username and password, please LOG-IN from our homepage to access your registration information in order to update. Do not create a new application, as duplicate registrations will cause errors with log-on.
